Our mission

Becoming parents made us ask bigger questions.

When our son was born, we started asking ourselves how to prepare him for a world shaped by the internet and AI. How would he know what was real, notice when someone was trying to influence him and make good decisions for himself?

Those questions soon led us to money, advertising, scams and other parts of life that matter but are rarely explained to children. Cluekind grew from our wish to make these conversations easier, with playful tools families can use together.

We cannot predict every situation our children will face. We can help them build the judgment to handle it.

What we make

Big life skills, made easier to talk about.

We create printable investigations, games and conversation cards that help families explore the digital world, money and everyday choices together.

The areas we are exploring over time

01

The digital world

Online information, advertising, influencers, scams, privacy and the choices children make on screens.

02

Money and choices

Spending, saving, value, persuasion and the everyday decisions that shape how children understand money.

03

People and everyday life

Communication, boundaries, emotions, responsibility and the small decisions that build confidence and independence.

One real question at a time. One useful skill for life.

How it works

Less lecturing. More looking, wondering and trying.

  1. 01

    Meet something real

Begin with a believable post, message, offer, problem or everyday choice.

  2. 02

    Look for clues

Notice what is being said, who is saying it and what may be missing.

  3. 03

    Talk it through

Use carefully written questions that help children explain their thinking.

  4. 04

    Make a thoughtful choice

Decide what to do next, especially when the answer is not immediately clear.

The goal is not to know everything. It is to know what to do when you are unsure.

Our first field guide

Can You Trust This?

A family field guide for deciding what to trust online.

The internet often asks children to react before they have time to think. Can You Trust This? turns believable posts, giveaways, influencer claims and surprising images into hands-on family investigations.

Children inspect, sort, discuss and decide while a grown-up guides the conversation. The guide gives families a calm, repeatable way to pause, look for evidence and choose a safer next step.

  • Interactive printable PDF
  • Visual case cards and five family missions
  • Made for ages 8 to 12 with a grown-up
  • Screen optional and no child account
  • Grown-up guidance and sources included

Made with care

Carefully researched. Made for real family life.

Every Cluekind guide begins with credible, relevant sources. We compare the information, translate it into child-friendly language and build activities that invite conversation rather than fear. Source notes are included so grown-ups can see where the ideas come from and continue exploring.

Cluekind resources are educational. They do not replace professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

About Cluekind

Made for families raising curious thinkers.

Children and grown-ups exploring real-world questions together through a playful activity.

Cluekind began with a question many parents share: how do we prepare children for a world that changes faster than we can explain it?

We turn big topics, from online information, advertising and scams to money and everyday choices, into playful, carefully researched activities families can explore together.

Created at the intersection of research, visual storytelling and family learning, Cluekind is not about giving children every answer. It is about helping them ask better questions, think for themselves and know what to do when they are unsure.
